Most beginners are unable to sing a song and play the guitar at the same time when they start out. It is important that you listen carefully to the songs that you want to play. You don’t have to worry about anything. Not everybody gets it right the first time. You can expect to make mistakes during your first time. Take these mistakes as a learning curve. You also may feel some discomfort of pain in the hands, arms and fingers during your first few days of learning. Don’t let this dissuade you as well. Practice your fingers more so soon enough, you won’t feel the pain of the pressure when you press on the strings of your guitar.

If you are learning on your own, grab some journals from the local bookstore. Check out online tutorials and articles that may be able to help you understand the technique a lot better. It can be pretty difficult to learn how to play the guitar on your own. And it takes a lot more dedication and focus to accomplish this feat.
